Hi there, a little about me and my background, I am 47 years old happily married with three children and currently live in Howsham between York and Malton.

As a young child I lived with my family at a rural ex-quarantine hospital where my parents worked. I used to sit for hours talking to the patients and even then I knew in my heart and soul what my life path would be and from those early years I have held a constant passion for people and their wellbeing.

I qualified as a RGN in 1983 and have thoroughly enjoyed my nursing career. It was after the birth of my third child in 1996 that I personally hit an all time low and didn't know which way to turn. All conventional medicine could offer me was various forms of drugs. I had worked in the conventional environment, witnessing the treatments which were offered, often treating the symptoms and not the cause. I decided this route of treatment was not for me and I decided to give complementary medicine a go, knowing that it could do me no harm.

I chose reflexology and decided on a course of six treatments and then assess. Quite simply my life had been turned around and I decided to train myself, as a reflexologist with the aim of helping my special son.

In October 2000 I qualified with distinction as a reflexology practitioner with the British School of Reflexolgy .

My passion for people continues and I fully believe that my life path is to be here to care for others.
